I have worked in the aviation industry as a pilot since 1978 when I obtained my Commercial Pilots License
The first third of my aviation experience has been in the Flight Training industry as Grade One Instructor, CFI, CP, Testing Officer, multi-engine IFR instructor and an instructor of instructors.
The middle third of my aviation career was as a line pilot and Training and Checking pilot on pressurized turbo prop aircraft – Cessna Conquest and Metro 23 – conducting charter and Low Capacity RPT operations.
My most recent third of my aviation career was working as a Flight 
Operations Inspector with CASA conducting flight tests, Chief Pilot assessments, conducting safety audits and processing AOC initial issue and variations for small RPT operations to Airwork operations. I fly aircraft from basic trainers through turbo-prop aircraft with some corporate jet experience in the Hawker 850.
I’ve learnt a few things along the way…the value of listening to people, the
need to focus on the goal but to ensure everyone gets there, the strength in collaboration…to list a few. And, of course, I have learnt my craft…as a pilot, as a teacher, as a testing officer, as a leader, as a catalyst and as an encourager.
I bring that broad experience into my consulting work.
