My role as an Aviation Consultant is to work with you so that you can achieve greater levels of effectiveness in your business.

Sometimes you know what needs to be done and you just need someone who understands that to help you forge ahead.

At other times you might need someone to bounce ideas off, conduct and document some research for you, or to suggest other industry best practice approaches, so that you can focus on building your business.

How I work

My approach is to first listen, and then to clarify the stated needs and to uncover those deeper issues you might have, so that I can effectively work with you to achieve your dreams and goals.

I will at times suggest approaches, ideas and alternate ways forward that may be of benefit for you, but because this is your business, you will determine the ultimate direction.

Because I have had extensive “hands-on” experience in the aviation industry, I can provide you with a practical real life solution to your aviation needs.

Services I Can Offer

Leadership Development:

It is always advantageous to have the next Chief Pilot or Chief Flight Instructor waiting in the wings! Without these Key Position holders your business comes to a grinding halt. I provide training courses to prepare staff for these key positions.

Staff Mentoring

Some staff need mentoring in people management, leadership skills, and job specific competencies. Other staff may need mentoring as they prepare for Instructor upgrades or to take on new responsibilities such as SMS manager. I can prepare specific one-on-one training to get your key staff operating effectively and efficiently.

AOC Variations and Documentation Delivery

New Regulations require updating of current Operations Manuals and the addition of new manuals. With my extensive background in industry and through working in CASA I can help you navigate your way through and provide documentation that meets CASA’s requirements and is practical and useful for your day-to-day operation.

Safety Management Systems

A Safety Management System goes well beyond just having a great manual (and I can help you with the manual!). For an effective Safety System, staff must be well educated and the company culture must shift to a new paradigm. If you need help to establish those changes I can help you plan and implement those changes.
