Do You Need To Develop Part 61 Courses for your Part 141 or Part 142 Organisation?
Introducing
TRACDsolutions™ (Training Records and Competency Development Solutions) is an easy to use and intuitive online solution for obtaining and creating compliant and effective competency based Part 61 courses, customised for your Part 141 or Part 142 Flight Training Organisation.
Every BASELINEsolution™ course within TRACDsolutions™ tracks every performance criteria required by CASA for that course and provides guidance to instructors and students about how to brief that performance criteria, study it demonstrate it, practice it and assess it. Performance criteria are not simply repeated, they are they are described and explained in different contexts to show, not just “what” must be taught, but “how” it can be taught. The description also indicates what performance level is required, how to deal with common student errors, and how each Performance Criteria must be assessed. Many principles of flight diagrams are included as standard. Where student exams are required, they are built into the BASELINEsolution™ ready for customization if desired.
The BASELINEsolution™ course provides a complete training sequence and documentation that can be downloaded as is, or, as we recommend, can be customised with additional details about how you want your courses to run and be taught. The amount of customisation is up to you. Easy to use and intuitive web tools allow you to shape the course to suit your style of training and to utilize your combination of aircraft and flight simulator training devices. You can add your existing training material and resources into the BASELINEsolution™ framework to connect it to specific Performance Criteria or required Underpinning Knowledge. Lessons can easily be re-sequenced. You can delay or promote the introduction of any competencies, and customize the details in the lessons plans with your teaching techniques and speeds and standard operating procedures for the aircraft or flight simulator training devices you use.
All the hard work has been done, and you get to play with a solution that will work for you without worrying about formatting and keeping track of all the competencies, and lining them up through the various documents. Sophisticated rules are working in the background of TRACDsolutions™ to ensure that all the Performance Criteria and Underpinning Knowledge required are included and that each item is appropriate briefed, trained and assessed during the course to meet all of CASA’s requirements.
Once you are satisfied with your course, all of the required course material can be downloaded to include in your company documentation set and to submit to CASA with your Part 141/142 application. Each course comes with the course overview, the course syllabus, detailed and abbreviated lesson plans for every lesson, and a records sheet for each lesson. Should you need to amend your course in the future, your previous version is held ready for you to easily make your changes.
Phase 2 of TRACDsolutions™ will include the ability to:
- Record student performance and track student progress digitally (iPad & computer integration),
- Modify or create catch up lessons “on the fly” to include competencies that were not completed or were not assessed as competent on earlier lessons. This ensures complete record proof that all competencies were briefed, trained and assessed.
- Analyse individual performance or total student performance and trends in the training. TRACDsolutions™ will identify Performance Criteria that students regularly struggle with, or lessons that are often repeated. With this data the company can achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings in the training program and also meet the requirements for CASR 141.260(mb) or CASR 142.255(c) and CASR 142.265(1)(b).
Is this the solution you have been looking for? TRACDsolutions™ is your solution.
